Our Ginkgo biloba, commonly known as ginkgo or gingko, comes from ginkgo or maidenhair trees. These trees are the last living species in their category, all others being extinct. Gingko leaves are found in fossils dating back 270 million years and so have been used in Chinese medicine for a long time. In the U.S., many also take ginkgo supplements. The ginkgo extract found in this supplement is derived from a 50:1 extract and is standardized to contain 24% min ginkgo flavone glycocides and 6% min Terpene Lactones.
