Description

Morrocco Method Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo, 12 fl oz Morrocco Method Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo stimulates blood flow to the scalp to revitalize and rejuvenate your locks. This restorative formula restores hair and scalp to a healthy pH with all natural ingredients. Even more impressive is what’s not in it: soy-free, gluten-free, SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) free, GMO-free, and cruelty-free. Representing the element of Fire, Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo rinses away the chemical residue that other shampoos leave behind, and increases blood flow to the scalp. This increases the activity of sebaceous glands to flush out debris, oil buildup, and unhealthy bacteria. The result? Healthy happy hair and scalps. Apple Cider Shampoo is safe for all hair types, and is especially helpful for: Damaged Hair Split Ends Alopecia How to Use Perfect shampooing requires washing twice. The first wash loosens debris, dead skin cells, and excess oils from the hair and scalp. The second wash flushes all the loosened material out, allowing the shampoo to nourish the hair with a longer scalp massage. 1. Dilute: MM shampoos are super concentrated, dilute it 1:1 with water for easier application.2. First Wash: Apply shampoo to wet hair, massage lightly to hair and scalp. It won’t lather. Rinse. 3. Second Wash: Apply shampoo again, massage longer to stimulate blood flow to scalp and hair. Rinse again. Follow with MM Conditioners for added hydration. Low Suds Means Low Toxins! The Dangers of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Many people have grown to expect a headful of suds from their shampoos. They have been trained by manufacturers to equate lots of foamy suds with squeaky clean hair and an effective shampoo. In order to get those big, soapy, sudsy bubbles foaming, they add enhancing sudsing agents to their formulas, also known as surfactants. Want to know a secret? Sudsy does not equal clean! The surfactant most commonly used in shampoos is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, or SLS. This surfactant is similar to the detergents found in liquid dish soap! SLS undergoes a process to make it more gentle for skin and hair, and as a result of this process an interesting by-product: a chemical contaminant called 1,4-dioxane. This chemical contaminant is not required to be added to labels becuase it is a by-product of an existing ingredient. And this little chemical contaminant can have some nasty side effects, such as irritation of the eyes, nose, and skin. SLS does more than just strip away natural oils from hair and scalp (and produce a chemical contaminant), it also strips away beneficial bacteria that naturally defend against harmful invading pathogens. Other names for SLS include TEA lauryl sulfate, lauramide DEA, and Ammonium lauryl sulfate and dodecylbenzenesulfonate acid (DDBSA) should also be avoided. Morrocco Method Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo is low sudsing and free from SLS. Made in the U.S.A. 12 fl oz/ 354 mL
