Their soft foam grips extend beyond just the traditional handle, allowing you to change your hand position without having to make repeated micro-adjustments to the height of the poles. Integrated straps help to save your wrists from undue stress. The Powerlock 3.0 external lock is far easier to adjust than the internal locking mechanisms used on many telescoping poles.
